This is a good point…if it were a black kid getting beat up by a few white kids Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be right there holding the race card. Either way this was a horrible crime and the kids should be prosecuted!

Not that I am a white supremacist or Neo-Nazi, but they make a strong point. There is a total double standard to the effects that it is racist to be proud to be white. You know that there would be an uproar if it was a black kid who got beat up.

I can care less what their organization is or how they feel about me. What they do to me is one thing, what is said about me is another. They pay taxes and send their kids to the same schools as mine and I would hope that they would want their kids to come home just as safe as I would mine. You can put a label on a group all you want, but if it was your child, you’d want the same.

I don’t like white or black supremacists, but they do have a point that if it were white kids on a black kid there would be national media attention and black political bigwigs calling it a hate crime and demanding justice and stirring up the black community all over the nation. The Black Panthers would even be in on it. What ever happened to them after they violently intimidated those people at the polling place anyway?

This attack most certainly qualifies under the hate crime legislation UNLESS hate crimes can only be carried out by whites against blacks which seems to be the case.

One can dislike Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, or the NAACP and not be a racist, but to equate their behavior to those who seek to eliminate races and religions is not a serious or sane discussion. That response just floors me. Because I’ve actually lived in places where klansmen and white power types did a good bit of marching. And in those cases, even the normal garden-variety bigots had the good sense to say, “Uh, those guys aren’t with me.”
How screwed up is this place that people have no shame at all about identifying themselves with white supremacists?
