Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit has his undies in a bunch because adults are talking about oral sex.

The horrors.

Seriously,what kind of fucking ninny is worried about a publication targeted to adults (a college paper) is discussing oral sex?

He calls the article porn:

They’re upset that I pointed out their school porn.

Hoft has shown that he is often damn near illiterate and does it again.  Porn is generally classified as material that is only designed for prurient interests having no literary or artistic merit.  A how-to-guide is educational and is far outside of that definition.

That is, unless you are so uptight sexually that you think oral sex is weird or unnatural or something which is both incredibly repressed and out of the mainstream where about 75 percent of people have had oral sex.  If you look at just the elderly which are more conservative in their attitudes about sex, it’s about half.  In short, it’s normal, healthy sexual behavior.

His comments go into slut shaming and are typically misogynistic referring to the woman as a whore and other fine names.  Such fine moral examples.

Oh, right, I have pointed it out repeatedly in relation to the Post-Dispatch.

And what do we have here?  One example on the American Renaissance listserv:

For those of you at the Post-Dispatch, keep up with Greenbaum’s strategy of allowing racists to continually abuse the comments.  You’ll have tons of readers–white supremacists from coast to coast. That’s got to be a bitchin’ business model.

Sharp is the tool yelling and using a handheld camera to record the reaction to his yelling, others walking through the circle of pro-health care reform circle and the crazy purple woman waving papers and screaming in people’s faces.  He’s basically trying to get video of someone being mean to the crazy purple lady and then use that as evidence of…something.  The people walking through the pro-health care reform circle were jostled several times, but no one fell the the need to try and get disturbing the peace charges against them–they were largely ignored other than one case where the crazy purple woman got into a hand slapping battle with a crazy pro-health care woman who had been asked to leave already.

I’m not sure if I have a clear recording where the tea party participants jostled the pro-health care reform crowd, but I’ll stick it up if I do.  It was immature and silly, but hardly disturbing the peace.

That is the word it takes to get the Post-Dispatch to take moderating comments?

Of all of the shit I have found on that site, Greenbaum calls the workplace of a guy who posted a dumb joke to what is the strangest thing you have ever eaten.  Seriously? WTF?

You can post racist screeds time and time again.  You can post misogynistic garbage on the site and they may delete it.  May.  You can post bizarre anti-Semitic screeds that deny the Holocaust.  Nothing.

You post an inappropriate response that isn’t that funny, but hardly the most offensive thing the site sees on a daily basis and Greenbaum calls the school notifying them?

Disgusting human beings are coddled and allowed to post over and over again, but a dork with a bad sense of humor gets the call.

In theory, I don’t have a problem with reporting people to their ISP for abuse of site terms. It shouldn’t be the first response, but it’s an entirely reasonable response for serious violations (threats) or repeated violations (more than twice in the same thread certainly).  I actually think the P-D ought to do this, but the choice of who to go after is absolutely bizarre.

Saint Louis Pushes Back catches Jim Hoft giving some love to the Council of Conservative Citizens:

Jim Hoft, also known as Gateway Pundit, has amazingly descended to a new, despicable low. After trumping up the school bus beatings in Belleville as “vicious racist attacks” (even though students, the mayor, and prosecutors said the attack was not racially motivated), he now links to a youtube channel from a white supremacist group with the video title, “2nd White kid attacked by blacks on school bus, racial slur used”:

Literally, some people showed up.

The Post-Dispatch has the best written story, but the number of attendees who were non-press appears to damn near nil.  Even bettr, from the KSDK story:

Gladney is not connected to Move-On-Up.org. Gladney’s attorney, David Brown, said Gladney does not have a problem with the way the NAACP has handled the situation.

Crack work there by Chris Arps and Move-on Up.  But it gets better (from the P-D):

ST LOUIS — A conservative African-American social networking group set out Monday morning to criticize the city’s NAACP chapter for not supporting a black man who said he was beaten outside a forum on aging earlier this month.

But the effort was cut short when the head of the civil rights group showed up at the news conference and said that no one had asked the NAACP to investigate the claims.

“The St. Louis branch of the NAACP will and does accept and investigate all written complaints filed with us, regardless of the complainant’s ideology,” said Claude Brown Sr., president of the St. Louis City NAACP. “We regret that a group has decided to protest outside our office before contacting us or filing such a complaint.”

The Saint Louis NAACP has long had a history of disorganization and organizational strife.  It also just outmanuevered Chris Arps of Move-On Up and Missouri Political News Service.  You almost have to try and be that incompetent.  Perhaps it’s just a natural talent for Arps.

Adding to it, Arps was there to criticize the NAACP for not acting to take a role in a potential felony situation, while Arps was found guilty of felony non-support of his children.

Interestingly, from what I’ve been told 97.1 never mentioned the protest/press conference before hand, nor did any of the sane Missouri political blogs. 

Fail.  Defined.

Hennessy is off in fantasy land:

The protest is to demand justice for Kenneth Gladney, an African-American conservative who was brutally beaten by 4 individuals, at least 2 of whom were identified as SEIU representatives. The beatings included racial slurs and required hospitalization of Mr. Gladney.

As videos show, the attack was unprovoked and no one retaliated against the union thugs.

This attack followed hours of taunts and verbal assaults by SEIU and ACORN members upon citizens gathered to express their views under the First Amendment. We believe this brutal beating is part of an organized plan to suppress dissent to the Administration’s planned seizure of the medical industry in the United States.

Anyone who believes in non-violent protest, in the rule of law, in the right of black men and women to express conservative political views, in the right to peaceably assemble, to speak freely, and to petition Congress for a redress of grievances is invited to attend.

The Tea Party specifically requests the NAACP and the ACLU to come out in support of Kenneth Gladney’s rights which were trampled by these hooligans. We call on Representative Russ Carnahan to denounce the beating. We call on President Obama to denounce the beatings. We call on St. Louis County to prosecute the assailants to fullest extent of the law.

The video only starts at the end of the incident so it’s unclear what started it.  At best what you have is two guys attacking a third guy.

That’s bad and if true the two guys will be prosecuted which is the right answer.

Hours of taunts and verbal assualts by SEIU and ACORN?  Not so much.  As you can somewhat see, most of the pro-reform folks outside were in a circle chanting and singing while being taunted, insulted, and challenged in their personal space for the entire evening.  Volunteers trying to reenter the building were grabbed and pushed.   A reporter had some crazy woman following her around trying to block the reporter from taking pictures because the woman was mad the reporter had been inside at one point.

I’m trying to clean up some video of when a Central Reform Rabbi was trying to engage in dialogue and had his seven year old son with him, two clowns started yelling at him and calling him a “Socialist Bastard.”  When he pointed out his son was there, they said, what do you expect, that’s your fault for bringing him there.

The event was at a Middle School.

Hennessy and his clowns can try and play the victims here, but let’s be very clear, they aren’t there for discussion or dialogue–the y are there to be disruptive.  They are angry bitter people and that’s really quite sad, but it also doesn’t excuse them from basic standards of decency.

About 15 seconds in you’ll see him with the green shirt and camera phone heckling the pro-reform group which is in a circle chanting.

Most of the night teabaggers were going up to the circle of pro-reform folks singing and doing chants and challenged personal space, yelling in people’s faces, pushing through small spaces, putting signs in people’s faces, etc.

The video of the woman in pink who is pretty clearly out of control was the only video they have of people acting up.  She was actually asked to leave by some of the pro-reform people because she was clearly disturbed. She ended up getting arrested which isn’t too surprising.
