The international turmoil results from my having described the White House’s flag@whitehouse.gov policy as fascist. Well, it is. We learn today, via Byron York, that the White House plans to build a database of opponents to Obama’s dictatorial plans. (Running the country through czars without Congressional or judicial oversight is dictatorship, you cheese-eating surrender monkeys.)
The White House request that members of the public report anyone who is spreading “disinformation” about the proposed national health care makeover could lead to a White House database of political opponents that will be both secret and permanent, according to Republican lawyers on the Senate Judiciary Committee who are examining the plan’s possible implementation.
“So the White House, whether by design or accident, has requested information from the public that will become ‘records’ under the Presidential Records Act, yet would be impermissible for any government to otherwise collect under the Privacy Act,” writes one Judiciary Committee source. “Where were the lawyers in all of this? What is their legal basis for authorizing the collection of these records?”
I am PROUD to be on Barack Obama’s official enemies list. When America’s version of the KGB archives is thrown open, I hope to see many, many checkmarks next to my name. I suggest everyone turn himself in at once. Just send an email to flag@whitehouse.gov and let them know you oppose Obama’s plan.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
So essentially all the White House did was ask for bogus claims about health care to be forwarded to a particular e-mail and that is now a KGB database of dissent. This is seriously bizarre stuff.
And there is no reference to Yurupeans…

On the day of the protest Hennessy put up another post attacking the White House for setting up an email address to answer questions about “fishy” rumors about health care reform.

Hold on…African Americans can not help it…its not their fault! Consider the circumstances.Most are decendants of slaves who were brought here against their will…straight out of the African jungle…sold into slavery by very mean and vicious people…to very mean and vicious people. These were the meek who were captured and brutalized by the strong.When they got to the US they were forced into slavery…which under the best circumstances was awful.Many were beaten and tortured…raped…forced to do unspeakable things. They were forced to bear children by the meanest of the mean slave owners.This blood still pumps through their veins. Throw in years of legal discrimination and then government programs designed to destroy family units…and then completely destroy the neighborhood schools…what do you end up with? Killers!!!If this happened to Carcausian or Serbian or Asian people the same thing would happen. Try to understand that these kids can’t help it…they are just following their DNA. Can somebody come up with a solution? I don’t have much hope for the near future…but down the road can we at least get the schools back (my personal best idea) to schooling?…It’s gonna be tough…if you haev some real answers lets hear them…

Am I the only one who, when I’m of a mind to plumb the deepest recesses of the human soul, pulls up the ol’ web browser and types in s-t-l-t-o-d-a-y-d-o-t-c-o-m?
Definitely not. Though I needed a few days away after overload set in from reading the garbage that shows up there.
You’ve got your skeptical “He was 102 and got from where to the Daniel Boone Bridge? … It seems a little strange to think the two things are related without there being something being slightly ‘off’….”
And your brass tacks “God bless him, quite a man to jump off a bridge @ 102,” and “he was a very lucid gentleman even at 102. So, if it was him, it was not due to dementia.”
And, of course, your cynical “Clearly the husband did it.”
But this being stltoday.com, things are gonna get curiouser. Ergo:
“Why should God ‘bless’ him? Isn’t suicide a Commandment Violation? On the otherhand, maybe the suicider asked for ‘forgiveness and absolution’ just before losing consciousness, declaring ‘Jesus is my Savior’ thus securing life ever after in Heaven.”
And lest Final Exit be left out, an afterthought from the same commenter: “…Maybe, just maybe, people like Millstone wouldn’t have to jump off bridges if painless and private assisted suicide were legal (and responsibly regulated)? “
Why is it appropriate to allow such commentary on the death of any human being? It’s fine if the sentiment is out there–, but why would anyone give it a venue?

A few of the posters here had it exactly right. Anytime you get this many urban blacks together there will in fact be a shooting. This happens because of the disproportionate number of criminals and illegal firearms. It happens every year. Its all part of the culture. WHY does this happen every year? Because the parents, (usually consisting of a Mom who sometimes has too many kids to monitor correctly, and who may be working one or two jobs and the fathers who statistically arent there in many cases) accept it as part of the culture. By that I mean they know who the drug dealers, gang bangers, drive byers, car jackers and burglers are but because they are their sons, nephews, brothers and neighbors they turn a blind eye and will even lie to the po-lice to defend them. Until these people as a group decide to stop living like this absolutely nothing will change.
